We releassed the most well looked after butterflies in Scoil Chaitríona Junior on Friday. They children said they were sad to say goodbye to their winged friends.

The science of bubbles
In our classroom we talked about bubbles.
They are always spheres no matter what the bubble wand is like.
They have interesting colours, but lose most of their colours just before they burst.
You can make them go the way you want by moving the air beside them.
They will burst if they land on your hand or anything else, unless your hand is covered in bubble liquid.

Rockets galore
We had a wonderful time in the field launching all sorts of rockets:
We had a push rocket, a stomp rocket, an elastic rocket.
We also had an air rocket and launcher
and we had a water rocket.
The big rockets needed a big pump to launch them.
