The First Day

I gave you a wink and a smile

as you entered my room today.

For I know how hard it is to leave 

and know your child must stay.

You've been with him for five years 

                    now

and have been  a loving guide, 

but now, alas, the time has come

to leave him at my side.

Just know that as you drive away 

and tears down your cheeks may 

                     flow

I'll love him as I would my own 

and help him learn and grow.

So please put your mind at ease

and cry those tears no more 

for I will love him and take him in 

when you leave him at my door.

Our Summer School Tour

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We all had a great day on our school tour today to Loughwell pet farm in Moycullen, even the teachers had fun!!
We saw lots of interesting animals, fed a lamb, and even touched some of the animals. 
I think the favourite part for alot of us was the tractor ride although all of it was brilliant. 

PE

PE days are now Tuesday and Wednesday.

New PE equipment

We are having great fun with our new PE equipment. 

The children think Ms Conneely likes to play with it more than they do. 

 

 

Caterpillars

 

We have been learning lots about caterpillars.  We are learning that caterpillars turn into butterflies, learning caterpillar songs and making caterpillar pictures.  Katie brought a lovely book to school.   It was all about caterpillars and is called, Katie's Caterpillars.
