Big Nature Walk
The children became very excited as we left the gates of the school today. And I quote "oh my god we're going outside the gates!" This made teacher smile.
We went on a hunt for a leaf of every autumn colour and acorns from the horse chestnut tree. Teacher heard there is a shortage of these this year. Despite this we managed to find some. Although they some what magically appeared by teacher! We had a lot of fun in the Autumn leaves!

A mummy's teddy
Thank you very much for sharing. This boy brought his mommy's much loved teddy bear to school today. She is called Mary Kate. We compared it to our teddy bear timeline.

Big, medium and small
We are learning about big and small. We put lots of things in order of size, identified lots of small things and big things. We ordered the children according to size. The children told their teacher she is the smallest in the whole school. Teacher loves the honesty of junior infants :)
Dance
We are getting really good at the mirror dance. We are having great fun with dance at the moment. We love the mirror dance.
Teacher sprinkles magic dust on our legs, arms, shoulders, heads, bellies and feet. This wakes up our bodies and helps every part of our body dance.
