Our Clay Hedgehogs
We've been learning all about hedgehogs. They are eating lots of berries, insects and worms before they hibernate for the winter. We had lots of fun looking for shapes in the clay. We thought the clay was very hard and cold at first but with lots of pounding and pinching we made it warm and found hedgehogs hiding in the clay. A hedgehog has lots of spikes so we stuck lots of sticks in his back. We tried to get them as close together as we could. This activity is great for making our little hands strong!
